| Students
are divided into three levels based on their proficiency in Spanish.
Upon arrival at Juanjo Spanish Language
School each student will be given a simple test to determine
placement.

This level is suitable for students with no previous
experience in the Spanish Language. Basic grammar, starting with
the present tense and basic conversation skills, are taught. Simple
forms of past and future tenses may also be taught, depending
on length of stay. By the end of this course students will be
able to communicate and converse on a basic level. (2-4 weeks)

This level is suitable for students who have some
previous knowledge of Spanish but have not yet attained a solid
grammatical base and need to acquire vocabulary and conversational
fluency. By the end of this course the students will be able to
express themselves spontaneously and at a level that enables easy
interaction with native speakers. (2-8 weeks)

This level is suitable for students who have advanced
grammatical knowledge and an extended vocabulary but still have
some deficiencies and would like to perfect certain skills, such
as speaking, reading or writing. Special emphasis is placed on
the toughest areas of grammar, specifically the subjunctive tense.
Advanced students will develop the ability to express themselves
with precision, using the language most effectively in a variety
of social contexts. (2-8 weeks) |
