In addition to your classes you can partake in volunteer work. The Juanjo Spanish Language School strongly encourages volunteering. A basic level of Spanish is required for volunteer work. Peru, like many developing countries, has many people in need of help, and there are many opportunities to give to others.

Volunteering is a great opportunity to use the Spanish you have learned during your classes in a practical setting, and to interact more closely with native Peruvians.

The Juanjo Spanish Language School has contacts with various volunteer organizations throughout Arequipa. Many of the volunteer organizations focus on working with underprivileged children.

It is preferable to let us know about your desire to do volunteer work in advance so that we can find suitable volunteer work for you.
